Edgewood Management Corporation provides community activities and resident assistant programs that transform properties into communities through life enhancing social and learning opportunities.
Edgewood Management Corporation seeks to improve the quality of life for residents and the residential communities where they live through Edgewood Community Services. Edgewood Community Services programs have impacted the lives of over 17,000 residents. On-site community centers offer programs and services to residents. The programs are implemented by the Edgewood Community Services associates. Many of the community centers have state of the art computer labs with internet access; libraries; educational games and learning materials. Edgewood Community Services Youth Programs offer after school activities and summer modules that include nutritional programs, homework tutorials and a host of community based services along with innovative programs such as Male Mentoring programs, Math Academy, Summer Day Camps and EMC’s Honor Role program.
Additionally, Edgewood Community Services provides adult educational programs, career postings, parent advisory groups, family nights as well as information and referral services. For seniors within the community, Edgewood provides educational workshops, health screenings, advocacy forums, recreational trips and holiday activities to assist our seniors with the ability to age in place. Edgewood Community Services also provides assistance to Resident Associations and Resident Advisory Boards.
Edgewood Community Services' Grant Administration Division actively seeks funding and partnership opportunities to support the on-site programs and services. Funding measures help to add additional programming, often at no additional cost to the property. In the past Edgewood Community Services has received funds from local, state, federal, private foundations and partnerships, and local community based organizations committed to children, youth, adult, seniors and families. Past and current funding has helped to cover the cost associated with the salary of bilingual associates; reading, math, computer, and substance abuse prevention instructors; school supplies for youth participants; nutritious snacks and meals; counseling services for adults and a host of other important initiatives.
